Gathering and Storage of Data

Data from Cookies
This website uses cookies to retrieve, store and verify your session within our back-end framework. These cookies are named "boothplorer_session" and "XSRF-TOKEN" and, if they do not exist in your web browser, are created for you when you visit BOOTHPLORER.
We do not utilize any third party analytics, cookies, scripts or 'click pixels' to track your usage and browsing habits on our website.
If you do not consent to receiving these cookies, you might not be able to use the website.
Data when Signing In
As of writing this privacy policy, we solely utilize Discord's OAuth2 to establish and verify user sessions on BOOTHPLORER. The only scope we request from Discord is "identify", which gives us basic information from your Discord account.
Using the "identify" scope mentioned above, we DO NOT have access to your email; we have no use or need for that.
The usage of OAuth2 means that your user credentials and other sensitive information are not stored on our web server.
Per Discord's recommendation, we save calls made to their API from your access token with temporary intent to our Database, these calls remain cached from a minimum of 30 minutes to a maximum of 1 day and are automatically wiped using a background job.
Data from External Sources
We may already possess non-personally identifiable information if you sell 3D models, assets, content and/or items on certain storefronts, this information in question is not different from what is already accessible to everyone on the world wide web when browsing said storefronts unless specified.
This information mentioned above is available on the world wide web. As such, we do not accept or process takedown requests for this information. BOOTHPLORER will try to match the visibility states of content it has indexed from storefronts where possible.
Data from Using the Service
When using BOOTHPLORER, we may track various interactions with a "less is more" mindset. We don't track or save more data than we need.
We do not save any user IDs, IP addresses or other similar information for interactions on this site, such as viewing and clicking (on) an avatar, item, shop or other parts of BOOTHPLORER to our Database. However, we do track basic web server usage per Apache's HTTP Server Log Files.
Features which require you to be signed in (such as following avatars, following shops, verifying shop ownership and other account-gated features) are stored and tied to your user ID to ensure these features in question (keep) work(ing) between sessions. You can request retrieval and deletion of this data by sending a mail to hello (plus) ihavearequest (at) boothplorer (dot) com titled "Data Request For [#Discord Snowflake]" in which we will reply within 1 month of receiving your mail. Failing to format your mail with mentioned title such will result in a delayed or no response at all.
